"Terminal 42" is an album that seeks to explore the personal meaning and purpose in life and one's own future. The title refers to the number 42, famously known as the answer to the ultimate question of life's meaning in Douglas Adams' book "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy." By using this number in the title, I represent the intention to seek and find answers to questions through my music. The metaphor of an airport terminal is used to represent the journey towards that purpose and direction, as something significant and therefore requiring a fast means of transportation to arrive in the shortest possible time. This is because for the realization of this E.P. as a final project, I had only 5 months of work. It also symbolizes venturing into the unknown and leaving behind the familiar. The themes represented by the songs are as follows:
